Vaccination is an effective way to prevent and control pandemic H5N1 subtype influenza.H5N1split vaccine is of interest for its high safety,but its immunogenicity is relatively low.Thus,adjuvants are usually needed to help boosting the immune effect.Here,we developed a novel hydrogel adjuvant based on quaternized chitosan (HTCC) for intranasal immunization and hydrogel microparticles (Gel MPs) for intramuscular injection.
