Verticillium longisporum is an increasing threat to winter oilseed rape production in Europe.Resistance against V.longisporum is quantitatively inherited.A mapping population produced from an inbred line of a German rapeseed cultivar and a resynthesized rapeseed line segregating for V.longisporum resistance (Express617 x R53) was used in a combination of a non-targeted and a targeted genetic, genomic, transcriptomic and metabolic analysis approach for the development of molecular markers.
