  The aim of the study is to make sure the type、the relationship of the restoring and maintaining and its cytoplasmic diversity of cytoplasmic male sterility in heading Chinese cabbage.genetic method and melocular method with special primer of orf138,orf222,orf224,orf263 and orf288 were used to identify the nine cytoplasmic male sterile of heading Chinese cabbage.the genetic results shows that the restorer and maintainer of PolCMS both act as maintainer for OguCMS or both of NapCMS and OguCMS in Chinese cabbage.the melocular identification shows that two CMS materials belong to PolCMS type,one CMS material is the OguCMS type and six CMS materials have both cytoplasmic sterile gene of NapCMS and OguCMS.There is no Brassica juncea CMS type.The identification with other cytoplasmic genes shows that one CMS materials with both cytoplasmic sterile gene of NapCMS and OguCMS had variation at BnTR4 sites.this results provides a basis for the use of these cytoplasmic male sterility.
