Objectives: Transforming growth factor-beta1 and gene variants have been extensively studied in various human diseases.This Meta-analysis assessed association of TGF-β1-509C＞T [rs1800469],+869T＞C [rs 1800470], and +915G＞C [rs 1800471]) polymorphisms with pneumoconiosis.Methods: A comprehensive literature search up to 30th October 2014 was conducted in PubMed,Embase, the Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM), the Wan Fang (Chinese) database and the Wei Pu (Chinese).
