Pears (Pyrus)are gametophytic self-incompatible fruit trees grown worldwide.Cultivars in different S-genotypes must be present locally to ensure normal pollination and fertilization for high and stable yields as well as successful breeding, eDNA probe designed based on the identified 52 S-allele sequences and the structure feature of S-RNase of the oriental pears have been used to prepare the S-RNase eDNA microarray.
