Papilionanthe hookeriana (Rchb.f.) Schltr., a swamp orchid found in the natural habitat in the southern province of Chumphon,Thailand.Recently, the population of P.hookeriana were decreased due to the over exploitation, habitat loss and impact of climate change.In vitro seed culture technique was used for propagation and conservation.Green pods were collected from natural habitat and seeds were cultured on Vacin and Went media (VW, 1949).
