Background Contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) carry worse prognosis to patients with acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) receiving primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).The purpose of the presentstudy is to identify whether salvianolate, a highly purified aqueous extract from Salvia miltiorrhiza, can reduce CIN after primary PCI.
