Biobank is a type of biorepository that stores biological samples for use in research.It plays a major role in prognosis, diagnosis and treatment of human diseases.The development of translational medicine calls for a large quantity of human samples of high quality.Over the past 9 years, we has established a set of standard operation procedures (SOP) for bio-sample collection, transportation,storage, quality control system and safety monitoring system and developed information management software.
