Purpose: To explore and compare the effects of occlusal reconstruction with removable prosthesis and fixed prosthesis on partial mandibular bone defect patients..Methods: 41 patients with partial mandibular bone defect and 1-2 molar or premolar lost were divided into two groups,24 were repaired with removable prosthesis,and 15 were repaired with fixed prosthesis.Their feelings(esthetic feeling,comfort),clinical symptoms,masticatory efficiency and temporomandibular joint disease symptoms(TMJDS)were observed and analyzed before and after occlusal reconstruction..
