Background: Pairs of gene expression profiling and CNV profiling in same cancer samples can help to identify expression signatures associated with CNV.In these studies, the relationship between CNV and dosage effect is a breakthrough. And many cancer genes have a feature of dosage effect. In addition, the two trans-acting factors of transcription factors and miRNA coordinately regulate gene expression to participate in various biological processes. Moreover, studies have found the conclusion that there is a more apparent protection mechanism for dosage resistance genes. In the study, we hypothesis that gene dosage effect is a result of the impact of CNV on gene expression and gene dosage effect varies is a result of the impact of miRNA and TF on gene expression.
