　　Background: Single point mutation at specific tyrosine residues of AAV capsids has been reported as a simple and effective method for enhancing the efficiency of AAV-mediated gene transduction both in vitro and in vivo.Adeno-associated virus (AAV) serotype-8 is a remarkable vector for in vivo gene delivery.Here,we generated three different tyrosine (Y) to phenylalanine (F) mutants of AAV8 (Y447F,Y703F,Y708F) and evaluated their in vivo transduction efficiencies in C57BL/6 mice.
