  Cd2+ and Pb2+ are regarded to be the toxic metallic pollutants,which can be found in aquatic products due to the accumulations in aquatic environment.Consumption of the aquatic products with high concentrations of these elements would damage the human health.Therefore,it is necessary to develop efficient methods to detect Cd2+ and Pb2+ in aquatic products.Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS),as a powerful technique,is widely used for the determination of heavy metal ions.However,it is rather expensive,time-consuming and not suitable for on-site analysis.Potentiometry with ion-selective electrodes(ISEs)is a very promising method for trace heavy metal level analysis,owing to its advantages such as low cost,simple analytical procedure and fast response [1-4].In this paper,we developed a screen-printed detection system based on solid-contact ion-selective indicator electrode and liquid-junction-free reference electrode.The screen-printed electrodes are fabricated with conductive carbon paste as working electrodes and silver chloride paste as reference electrodes.For the construction of the solid-contact ion-selective indictor electrodes,octadecylamine-functionalized graphene is used as solid contact to improve the stability of the electrodes.The proposed electrodes show stable Nernstian characteristics within the concentration range of 1.0×10-6 – 1.0 ×10-3 M.
