　　The severe soil erosion on the Chinese Loess Plateau can cause difficulties in developing and utilizing the regional floodwater resources due to the high sediment concentration in runoff.The volume of difficult control-utilization floodwater duringflood season is related to the amount of available surface water resources in hyperconcentration rivers of the Loess Plateau.
