　　Extreme rainfall could cause a series of social,environmental and ecological problems.This paper,taking Heihe river basin,the second largest inland river basin in China,as the study area,is evaluate the frequency analysis of rainfall extremes based on the historical daily rainfall records(1960-2010)at nine stations.
