Two types of tandem metal relay catalysis (TMRC) strategy were presented.The rational combination of gold catalysis with early transition metal leaded to the efficient synthesis of fused bicyclic aminals.[1] Another Cu-Pd relay strategy was developed for the synthesis of tetrasubstituted furan derivatives from cyclopropenes.
