Objective: To evaluate Hsp90a expression level in lung cancer patients and to determine whether Hsp90a monitors and predicts response to therapy in lung cancer.Methods: Exactly 2,284 lung cancer patients randomly assigned into two groups were enrolled in this study, namely, static and dynamic groups.The static group (2,036 samples) consisted of healthy subjects (592 samples), lung cancer patients (1,046samples), non-cancerous lung lesion patients (361 samples), and other cancer patients (37 samples).Samples of peripheral blood from all subjects were collected in sterile EDTA-K2-coated vials.
