  DNA methylation is an important molecular mechanism in regulation of gene expression.It is relevant to the development of lung cancer and is molecular biomarker for lung cancer.DNA methylation biomarker can be used for lung cancer detection.Moreover,DNA methylation markers could be helpful for treatment and prognosis.In this study,DNA methylation data for lung cancer and normal tissues were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA),and the data were generated by Illumina Infinium HumanMethylation450 BeadChip Array(Infinium 450k).
