In recent years,cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) has been widely employed as a linking motif to prepare various kinds of supramolecular assemblies for biomedical applications due to the fact that CB[8] is capable of simultaneously encapsulating two guest molecules inside its cavity,forming a stable yet dynamic ternary complex [1,2].Surprisingly,up until now,tittle attention has been given to the prepation ofprodrug micelles using CB[8] mediated host-guest supramolecular chemistry.
