Esterification reaction is one of the most important organic reactions in the pharmaceutical industry.Homogeneous catalysis is a powerful tool in highly active and stereoselective organic transformations.It has been reported that 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)pyridine(DMAP) is an effective homogeneous catalyst for the esterification of alcohols with acid anhydrides,the ring-opening polymerization,the silylation of alcohols and others.In order to avoid spreading these harmful chemicals to the surroundings,it is important to find a recoverable catalyst that could be easily separated from the product mixture after reaction.
