  Defense-related (DR) genes which were activated post pathogen inoculation are important resources to utilize improvement of crop resistance.Developed high-throughput techniques can fleetly mine numerous DR genes, but it was still a big problem to exploit their function in plant resistance or susceptibility.Here we reported a constructed model to help accurately predict the function of DR genes based on their compared induction level post inoculation with two variant pathogenicity strains of Rhizoctonia solani Kühn which caused banded leaf and sheath blight (BLSB) disease of maize.
