Leaf blight is a major fungal disease of garlic in Sichuan Province of southwest China, leading to severe yield loss.In this work, the etiology, dynamic and fungicides on control of garlic leaf blight were studied.During 2010 to 2013, leaf blight of garlic has been systemically observed in Sichuan Province,China, and its causal agent was identified as Stemphylium solani based on morphological characteristics and molecular data.For sporulation induction, the ideal condition was optimized that S.solani was cultured on PCA medium at 25℃ under dark for four days, then damaged the mycelia, and continued to culture it according to above conditions.
