Objectives: To investigate cetuximab added to concurrent chemoradiotherapy for Chinese patients with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).Methods: Eligible patients with non-resectable, locally advanced(stage Ⅱ to stage Ⅲ cervical, upper, or mid-thoracic) ESCC received cetuximab at 400 mg/m2 loading dose d1 for the first week and then cetuximab at 250 mg/m2 dl, paclitaxel at45 mg/m2 dl, and cisplatin at 20 mg/m2 dl for 7 additional weeks concurrent with 59.4 Gy/33 fractions of radiation therapy.The primary endpoint was the clinical response rate (RR), including complete response (CR) or partial response (PR).The secondary endpoints included overall survival (OS), progression free survival(PFS), and KRAS biomarker and safety.
