　　whil mutation affected the transcription of some genes,in which the disruption of SCO3899 (inol) resulted in the appearance of subtle growth and bald phenotype under inositol starvation,inol encodes myo-Inositol-1-phosphate synthase (mIPS),which can convert D-glucose-6-phosphate into L-myo-inositol-1-phosphate,the first step in de novo biosynthesis of myo-inositol,inol mutant could be complemented by inol and its upstream gene (SCO3900.designated inoR,which encodes a PadR type transcription regulator).
