Brassinosteroids(BRs),a class of polyhydroxy steroid phytohormones,play critical roles in the growth and development of plants,including germination of seeds,rhizogenesis,flowering and senescence [1].They were also reported to regulate stress tolerance to various environmental extremes such as high temperature,chilling,drought,salinity and heavy metals in a range of plant species [2].
