Aims Many studies have reported on the use of Videoendoscopic autofluorescence imaging (VAFI) system to differentiate neoplastic from non-neoplastic lesions in Barretts esophagus, the variable results limited the ability to accurately assess its test performance and future role in clinical practice.The clinical utility of VAFI has never been supported by a meta-analysis.We aimed to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis on the real-time diagnostic operating characteristics of Video AFI gastroendoscopy in BE patients.
