采用琼脂稀释法测定了一种人参病原菌人参锈腐病菌(Cylindrocarpon destructans)和四种非人参病原菌对人参皂苷单体Rb1、 Rb2、Rc、 Rd、 Rg1和Re的敏感性.六种人参皂苷单体对四种非人参病原真菌均显示强烈的生长抑制作用,而对人参锈腐病菌显示了不同的活性.二醇型人参皂苷单体Rb1和Rb2显著刺激了人参锈腐病菌的生长,刺激强度呈计量依赖性,Rc在低浓度(0.03-0.06%,w/v)时刺激毁灭柱孢菌的生长,高浓度时抑制毁灭柱孢菌的生长(0.125-2%,w/v),但是在最高检测浓度(2%)的生长抑制率仅有4.4%,Rd在测试浓度范围内微弱抑制了毁灭柱孢菌的生长,最高生长抑制率为6.2%;三醇型人参皂苷单体Re和Rg1明显抑制了人参锈腐病菌的生长,最高生长抑制率分别为17.7%和16.3%.人参皂苷在植物-真菌互作中的生态学角色被讨论了.
