　　In this study, TiON/Polyol composite coatings on PET substrates were prepared as photocatalyst layers in thin film reactor for the photodecolouration of methyl blue (MB) under visible light irradiation.The optimal condition applied to Taguchi method with L9 orthogonal array for preparing the visible-light driven nitrogen-doped TiO2 (TiON) photocatalyst by simple hydrolysis method was achieved with the evaluation of the photocatalytic degradation of TiON powder toward MB photodecolouration.
