To investigate the effects of surfaces treatment on the interfacial bonding of composite, two types of surface modification methods were used.In the pultrusion process, fiber wettability during resin impregnation is very important factor which influences on the interfacial bonding properties of composite structure.It is well known that both of plasma treatment and silane coupling agent coating can activate glass fiber surface and improve the fiber wettability to resin.In this research, we have applied low temperature plasma and acetyl-type silane coupling agent on glass fiber, respectively and compared the effects on the adhesion properties in composite.
