PPS fiber has the good perfromance such as inflammability, high heat and chemical resistance, and high mechnical properties.In this research, Nonwoven composite medium for bag-type filtration was prepared from poly(phenylene sulfide)(PPS) fibers which is manufactured by melt spinning.PPS staple fibers were carded and then carded web was needle punched with PPS woven mesh.Wet-laid nonwoven from 0.06 de PPS fine fiber was spunlaced with the support layer which is needle punched nonwoven of pps staple and mesh in order to enhance the filtration efficiency.
