1993~1996年对芦苇裂瘤病进行系统观测、调查、试验的结果表明:子囊孢子在24~30℃、苇叶表面有4~6h的水膜存在时萌发形成侵入丝,由寄主表皮细胞间隙或从寄主伤口、自然孔口侵入而引致发病。以子囊座在病株残体中越冬。翌年5~9月先以子囊孢子引起初侵染,后以菌丝体在苇叶鞘上进行重复侵染。通过对影响裂瘤病发生因素的分析研究,提出火烧苇墩、消灭菌源、轮作与更新,辅以药剂的防治方法。药剂防治以77%的可杀得1000倍液喷雾效果最佳。
