1995年10月22日,北京宋庆龄儿童科技公园装扮一新,处处洋溢着节日的气氛。在用长木桌临时搭起来的主席台上,坐着宋庆龄基金会主席黄华、副主席荣高棠、高登榜、刘启林、马联玉,东北财经大学校长夏德仁教授、中国史图研制者暨中国史图墙设计者李克副教授。主席台上方悬挂的红底白字的大幅会标分外引人注目,它在告诉人们:这里正在举行中国史图墙落成典礼,风光秀美的公园内又将增添一处新的景观。参加典礼的有手持鲜花的小朋友、少年乐队和外国小朋友组成的小记者采访团,还有史学专家、新闻记者、出版界的权威人士和实业界的朋友们。
October 22, 1995, Beijing Soong Ching Ling Children’s Technology Park dress up, filled with a festive atmosphere everywhere. On the podium temporarily set up with the Longwood Table, Chairman Huang Hua of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Rong Gaotang, Gordon Deng, Liu Qilin, Ma Liangyu, Vice Chairs of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Professor Xia Deren, President of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Wall designer Li Ke associate professor. The spectacular monogram of red and white hanging above the rostrum is particularly striking. It is telling people that a ceremony for the completion of the Chinese historical wall will be held here and a new landscape will be added to the beautiful park. Participants at the ceremony included a group of young journalists with flowers, young bands and foreign children, as well as historians, journalists, publishing authorities and business friends.
