近年来,江东区紧紧围绕新兴科技工贸区的建设目标,抓住城市东扩的机遇,以服装节、省洽会等大型经贸活动为载体,着力营造“招商、安商、富商”的投资软硬环境,招商引资工作取得重大突破。1999年引进三资企业11家,协议利用外资1436万美元,同比增长251%,实际利用外资650万美元,同比增长21%,总投资2036万美元,同比增长152%,并荣获第一届省洽会宁波团优秀组织奖及优秀招商奖、1999年度宁波市利用外资单项奖。今年1-10月份,利用外资总量、质量再创历史最好水平,一是利用外资创历史新高。1-10月份,合同利用外资6440万元,是去年的16.8倍,增幅居全市首位,相对额排名第4。实际利用外资1419,是去年同期的10倍,增幅也居全市
