消防标准化作为消防安全的基础性工作,在消防事业中发挥着重要作用。20世纪80年代颁布《标准化法》以来,我国制定发布了大量涉及消防工作的标准,构建了基本满足消防现代化发展需要的消防标准体系。但就目前的消防标准来看,其中还存在一些问题,有待进一步完善。消防标准与规范的制修订工作不协调目前我国的消防标准制修订工作主要分为两大部分:工程建设方面的消防标准(规范)由建设部组织制订,其他消防技术标准由公安部组织制订。而两大主管部门以及承担制定标准的各个机构之间没有制度上的联系,这样就难免出现消防标准制修订和相关规范的制修订之间协调性较差,甚至存在冲突的现象,从而导致难以适从。
