Scientific research and market applications separated by a “death of the valley.” Even if it is a very promising field, if the road to industrialization is not smooth, the bright future vision will eventually become an inaccessible sky castle. The industrial nature of the bioindustry determines that the road to industrialization is bound to be full of thorns. There will be unforeseen “stumbling blocks” in technology, funds, policies and the market. Numerous studies that claim to have broad clinical applications promise few, if any, end up in the market. How to clear the obstacles and get through the path of industrialization have become the top priorities for the government, researchers and investors in the biological industry.
