旋耕埋草机是与工农-12或东风-12型手扶拖拉机配套的新型农具,是在原配套旋耕机的基础上,把旋耕刀装置改为直径为φ380毫米的圆柱形滚笼。该机具有旋耕与埋草合一之功能,即纵横旋耕两遍,既能完成翻耕、碎土作业,又能将整株秸秆(麦、稻秆及绿肥等)埋入土中。据测定,秸秆的覆盖率可达95%以上。从而大大减轻了传统秸秆还田靠人工用铡刀把秸秆铡成三四段,然后用旋耕机翻耕的劳动强度,同时提高工效5～10倍。是目前南方水稻种植区稻、麦秆还田较理想的机具。该机在浙江省推广两年多来,深受广大农民的欢迎,截止1991年底,已推广7200余台,累计秸秆还田面积近百万亩。为用好该机,在使用中应该注意如下问题:
