党的十四大明确提出用邓小平同志建设有中国特色社会主义理论武装全党;明确提出建立社会主义市场经济体制的理论,从而实现了我们党对社会主义理论的重大突破。如何运用这两大理论指导社会主义现代化建设的伟大实践,解决现实中遇到的一系列具体问题,是当前和今后我们党思想建设和理论建设方面所面临的重大课题。在这方面,理论工作者责无旁贷,新闻工作者也担负着重要的历史使命。
The 14th CPC National Congress explicitly proposed that Armed Forces should be armed with Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and explicitly put forward the theory of establishing a socialist market economic system so as to achieve a major breakthrough in our party’s theory of socialism. How to apply these two great theories to guide the great practice of socialist modernization and to solve a series of specific problems encountered in reality is a major issue facing our party’s ideological construction and theoretical construction at present and in the future. In this respect, the theoretical workers are duty-bound, and journalists also carry an important historic mission.
