The article introduces the method of obtaining single-energy γ-rays of 5-10MeV energy range from Am-Be neutron source and high-energy monochromatic low background γ-ray on the reactor. They can be used to scale the energy linearity, energy resolution and relative efficiency of γ detectors such as Ge (Li), HPGe, NaI (Tl) and BGO.
