In this paper, the kinetics of cholesterol metabolism and the distribution of radioactive intensity in each tissue were determined using 7- to 3H, cholesterol as tracer. In rats, the cholesterol metabolism in the blood and liver accelerated markedly, that is, the metabolism and update of cholesterol in the fast metabolic area accelerated, and the total plasma cholesterol decreased.
