Introduction: Ionothermal synthesis, a new method for preparation of aluminophosphate zeolite analogues, as well as other materials was developed in 2004[1,2].This method uses an ionic liquid or eutectic mixture as the reaction solvent and also the SDA (or template) during the reaction process.Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are a related class of ionic liquid, usually comprising organic halide salts and hydrogen bonding donors such as amidess, amines and carboxylic acids[3].Our group first reported the ionothermal synthesis of ZrPO4 materials using DESs as solvent and potential SDA provider.
