由中国地理学会和中国土木工程学会联合召开的第二届全国冻土学术会议于1981年10月中旬在兰州举行。这是我国冻土学界一次规模空前、内容丰富的盛会。有来自全国铁路、水利、林业、公路、地质、采矿等生产部门,以及科研和高等院校68个单位的182名代表参加。日本雪冰专家黑岩大助教授、美国寒区工程和冻土专家严银照博士和J·布朗博士应邀参加会议,并作了学术报告。提交会议的169篇论文报告,充分反映了我国年轻的冻土学研究得到蓬勃发展,无论是普通冻土,还是冻土物理力学和热学性质,以及工程冻土方面,都有了相当的进展,达到了一个新的水平。
The 2nd National Conference on Permafrost, jointly organized by the Chinese Geographical Society and China Civil Engineering Society, was held in Lanzhou in mid-October 1981. This is an unprecedented celebration of the world of frozen earth in our country. There were 182 representatives from 68 production units of the national railway, water conservancy, forestry, highway, geology, mining and other units as well as scientific research institutes and universities. Japanese snow ice expert Professor Yamanakaii, the United States Cold Regions Engineering and frozen soil expert Dr. Yan Yinzhao and Dr. J. Brown were invited to attend the meeting and made an academic report. The 169 papers submitted to the conference fully reflect the vigorous development of young frozen earth science research in our country. Both the ordinary frozen soil and the physical and mechanical properties of frozen soil, as well as the thermal properties of frozen soil have made considerable progress. Reached a new level.
