明朝时,有位老秀才突然病倒在床。一天,他的好朋友来探望他,问他身体如何。老秀才强打精神,笑着说好多了。朋友很高兴,说:“快点好起来吧,我还想多看看你写的文章呢!”老秀才摇摇头,回答道:“不用等痊愈,我很快就要从近处入手了。”朋友以为他在病中还写文章,忙劝他不可太劳累,然后客套了几句,就起身告辞了。
