我叫张玉友,是通化县快大茂镇青山村小学的校长。20多年前,我来到乡村当教师时,面对艰苦的生活和工作环境,我曾气馁过,但看到山沟里穷孩子那渴求知识的眼睛,特别是老校长那期待的目光,我硬着头皮留了下来。在工作的接触中,老校长那种老共产党员特有的以校为家、辛勤耕耘、无私奉献的精神深深感动着我,使我明白了共产党员的真正含义。当我庄重而崇敬地向党组织递交了第一份入党申请书时,老校长那饱经风霜的脸上露出了欣慰的笑容。从此,我像老校长那样默默地工作,将自己的青春和热血贡献给党的教育事业。
