介绍了中国物理学文献数据库(CPD)系统的建库思想和实现途径。着重阐述了CPD的组成、功能、检索途径、其标准化和规范化建设及其科学性、完整性、通用性和实用性,并简要阐明了CPD系统已取得的经济效益和社会效益。

This paper introduces the thought and realization way of building database of Chinese Physical Document Database (CPD) system. Emphatically elaborated the composition, function, retrieval way of CPD, its standardization and standardization construction and its scientificness, completeness, universality and practicability, and briefly explained the economic benefits and social benefits that CPD system has obtained.
