伤员的要求‘做手术比在前方负伤时疼的多。’由这一句话反映了伤员们对麻醉的不满意和惧怕手术的心理。战士们在敌人面前,一心是杀敌,他们甚麽也不怕;负了伤之後,送到後方,就是回到了自己的家,因而应该得到一些舒适和安慰。他们希望能够一点也不知道的睡过去,睡醒之後手术已经做完,并且手术完了之後,也不觉得疼痛。但我们常用的局部麻醉、腰椎麻醉、乙醚麻醉,没有一种是合乎伤员这点要求的。局部麻醉需要高度的技术条件,不然不容易达到完全,腰椎麻醉的控制
