本文首先根据通信网中业务的发展趋势提出了宽带综合业务数字网对转移模式的要求——高速性与灵活性。指出了现有电路交换方式、分组交换方式不适应这一要求的局限性,进而分析了ATM异步转移模式所具备的技术特色及其网络拥塞控制方法的独到之处.从而表明这种模式同时具备高速、灵活的特点,能够满足下一代通信网——B-ISDN的要求。
In this paper, first of all, according to the development trend of the business in the communication network, this paper proposes the requirements for the transfer mode of broadband integrated services digital network - high speed and flexibility. Points out the limitations of existing circuit switching methods and packet switching methods, and analyzes the technical characteristics of ATM asynchronous transfer mode and the uniqueness of its network congestion control method, which shows that this model has both High-speed, flexible features to meet the next generation communications network - B-ISDN requirements.
