At the invitation of the American North American Chinese Transportation Association, Li Xiaojiang, director of the Institute of Transportation Planning and Design of China Academy of Urban Planning and Design, and two others went to the United States to participate in the Asia Pacific Transportation Development Conference from February 2 to February 24, and to the United States. The five major cities were visited. During the United States, Li Xiaojiang gave a keynote speech at the Asia Pacific Transportation Development Conference held in Los Angeles and introduced the current status of urban transport in China. The policy planning, institutional planning system, and the China City Planning and Design Institute have caused great interest among the participants. Outside the conference, Li Xiaojiang asked five major cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Washington, and New York, and several small and medium-sized schools.
