In 2010, the scientist at Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dr. Gao Jie of Dr. Liu Fangguang and Ms. Zhang Yaling, a pioneering entrepreneur who returned from France introduced her. With the enthusiastic introduction of Beijing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Beijing Cultural Relics Bureau, the American friend Hubert Huashi and Susan Huashi and his wife decided to donate six oil paintings to the Capital Museum. Their authors are the donor’s grandfather, the outstanding Dutch painter, Huber Huashi, who had portraits of the Dutch Queen, King of Korea and Empress Dowager Cixi.
