《机械制造》83年第9期刊登的“单刃铰刀的设计和使用”一文中提到:“由于径向抗力的作用,导向块对零件表面产生挤压作用,使被加工表面产生微小的塑性变形,从而达到提高零件表面光洁度的作用。”对这个提法,我有不同的看法,现与徐信扬同志商榷。我厂在使用单刃铰刀中曾发现如图所示的导向条1磨损比导向条2严重。究其原因,是单刃切削产生的不平衡切削力造成的。单刃铰刀在铰削过程中的受力情况是较复杂的,受力情况如图所示。垂直抗力P_Z是铰削过程中消耗功率最多的一个力,一般占总功率的90%以上。这个力大部分作用在导向条1上,将其紧紧压向孔的表面,使被加工孔表面的材料产生变形,同时产生大量的热,使其磨损。而径向抗力P_Y一般只占垂直抗力P_Z的
