本部影片是讲述发生在1857年印度反叛时期,关于印度士兵蒙戈潘岱与英国军官威廉·戈登之间友情,以及主人公的爱情、失去和斗争的故事。是1857年英国入侵印度时期的东印度公司,名为蒙戈潘岱的印度兵团小队长,因不满当时的东印度公司迫害印度平民而且不尊重印度人的宗教信仰,于是带领一连的印度兵起义抵抗。势单力薄革命最终失败了,而蒙戈潘岱也被判处极刑,但由此掀起印度人想要争取独立的决心。在经过多年的斗争后,东印度公司终于退出印度这块土地,印度成功独立了。最终蒙戈潘岱成为印度历史上杰出的英雄。
The film is about the story of the love, loss and struggle that took place in the rebellion of India in 1857 about the friendship between the Indian soldier, Monsanto Pandai, and British officer William Gordon. Is the British Indian invasion of India in 1857, the East Indian company, called the Mongolian Poon Dai Indian Corps squad leader, because the dissatisfaction of the East Indian company persecution of Indian civilians and did not respect the religious beliefs of Indians, led a continuous Indian uprising resistance. The sloppy revolution eventually failed, and Menggepanidai was also sentenced to death, but this set off the determination of Indians wanting to gain independence. After many years of struggle, the East India Company finally pulled out of India’s land and India succeeded in independence. In the end, Mongolia Geopantai became an outstanding hero in Indian history.
