五集电视纪录片《雨花台》还原历史情境,从人性、人情的角度解读革命烈士。全片通过这样的视角切入党史,书写革命烈士,是颇有新意的。作为一个物理坐标,雨花台在全国享有很高的知名度,在此牺牲的烈士数量众多。如何用影像来传达雨花台背后的故事,这是创作者面临的首要难题。尤其是关于这些烈士,资料参差不齐,普遍认知度也不高,如何获得当下观众的认可,成为全片创作的另一个难题。从成片看,在结构上,创作者选择将烈士群体中的典型人物进行归类,以《青春之歌》《红色恋情》《长夜星空》《清廉本色》和《致未来书》五个篇章来分别展现。在每个篇章主题下,以革命烈士的故事作为素材,通过一个个鲜活的人物故事进行串联。
